SAN ANGELO - Mary E. Zrubek died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in a local hospital. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Robert Massie Funeral Home chapel.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Holy Angels Catholic Church with burial at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena.
Survivors include children Cindi Robinson of Longview, Gary Zrubek of Bradenton, Fla., and Debra Alvey of San Angelo; and brother Eugene Sladek of Round Rock.
SAN ANGELO - Eunice S. Merritt, 95, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at her residence. Memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
BALLINGER - Dolly Irene Farmer, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, in a local nursing home. Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Lange Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in Old Runnels Cemetery.
Survivors include sons Scott Farmer and Stephen Farmer, both of Gillette, Wyo.; and sisters Shirley Wolverton and Christine Smith, both of Ballinger, and Billie Simpson of San Angelo.
BIG SPRING - Jean Stripling, 100, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in a Lubbock hospital. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at First United Methodist Church with burial in Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
SWEETWATER - Sharon Ann Veal, 58, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are by McCoy Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughter Tish Veal of Sweetwater; and sister Donna Gill of Zephyr.
SAN ANGELO - Emanuel Ibarra, 44, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008. Services are pending at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
SANTA ANNA - John Hensley Sr. died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. Services are pending at Henderson Funeral Home.

- Police yourselves. Hit the "Suggest Removal" button on offensive comments. We, in turn, will take a look at your issue with a particular comment and remove it if it violates our user agreement.
- Share what you know. Give us your eyewitness accounts, background, observations and history. You are our eyes and ears in the Concho Valley.
- Ask questions. What more do you want to know about the story? We can then forward your question to the appropriate person and have them give you a response.
- Help us get it right. If you find a factual error or misspelling within one of our stories, email webmaster@gosanangelo.com before slamming the writer and newspaper.
